Public Health in Ireland
The Association of Public Health Medicine Registrars of Ireland (APHRI) was founded in 2013 and officially joined EuronetMRPH in 2014. Its four executive committee members are elected annually.
The aims of our Association are:
- To represent Public Health trainees in Ireland and advocate on their behalf.
- To contribute to the development and improvement of the Public Health Higher Specialty Training scheme in Ireland.
- To promote Public Health Medicine as a specialty amongst other trainees and within our health system.
- To encourage and facilitate national and international networks and collaborations.
